Today’s the day

For the last 6 months I have been trying to navigate the rapidly changing world. In my processing, I have counted myself out. I decided it was too hard. And I decided no one cares! You all have too much going on to think about improving your life by making you well-being a priority.

What lies!

All of them!

And especially the last one! Now, more than ever, is the time to make your well-being a priority. And you need to make that decision. Not because I think it sound good or trendy, but because your life literally depends on it. And you know it.

Your life literally depends on it. And you know it!

Intentionally living to improve your well-being will take discipline. It will be hard some days. But I believe taking medications and being in and out of the hospital are hard too.

But inevitably it is your life: you get to choose where you will spend your time, effort, and money.

Continue reading if you are ready to make today the day you start to change the way you live your life.

You may be thinking, How can I start today? It’s Monday evening and I have nothing prepared. I can’t be intentional, because I haven’t “prepped.”

Guess what?

You don’t have to be “prepped.” You only have to decide and do.

Today, start with sleep.

Sleep is not only a state of subconsciousness for our brains, it is also restorative for our whole being. Our bodies heal while we sleep. Our minds may turn off but our cells get to work fixing what we have done to it through the day. Whether that is from exercise, eating, or coming in contact with a constant train of viruses and bacteria. Sleep is the time our defenses go up!

This week, make it your goal to get 8 hours of sleep. This can be a challenge! But I believe in you. This is where we will start.

Let me know how it goes.
How much sleep do you normally get?
How much sleep did you get last night?
